Calling all ServiceNow System Administrators, UK (Remote)

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Tech Savvy: You have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including modules, workflows, and scripting languages like JavaScript and GlideScript.
  • Problem Solver: You can diagnose and resolve issues efficiently to keep the system running smoothly.
  • Great Communicator: You can explain technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users and collaborate with IT and business teams.
  • Organised: You manage IT assets, schedules, and projects to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analytical: You analyse system performance and identify potential improvements or threats.

What You'll Do:

  • Configure & Manage Systems: Set up and maintain hardware and software systems necessary for business operations.
  • Manage User Access: Establish and manage user accounts, ensuring authorized access while maintaining security protocols.
  • Automate Processes: Identify areas for improvement and develop automated solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure Security & Backups: Perform daily security backups and restores to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor & Troubleshoot: Continuously monitor system performance and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Document & Report: Create and maintain logs of system performance and issues, providing valuable data for troubleshooting and future planning.

Your Experience:

  • Hands-On ServiceNow Experience: At least six months of practical experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • IT Help Desk Experience: Experience with IT Help Desk policies and workflows, beneficial for managing incidents and service requests.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • User Support & Training: Experience in providing user support and training, helping end-users effectively utilize the ServiceNow platform.

Certifications That Impress:

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ITIL Foundation
